Easter Bunny

Just some photo's of my garden and the pond, the frogs are cute! I got a really nice little vintage handbag for Easter along with a big Lindt bunny and egg, feeling a bit sick now ahaaa. Hope everyone has a nice Easter and gets lots of yummy chocolate stuff :) I'm off back to uni for 2 days to get my dissertation printed and bound then home again until next Monday, then it's back to uni for a month until it's ALL OVER. I can't really get my head around it, where did 3 years go?? Roll on the finishing education celebrations and bottles of wine, think I deserve it ;)

Photo Diary Four

Just some photographs of a walk from today that I went on with my parents, mainly pictures of butterflies that my dad spotted, him being an avid fan of all insects/flying things. It was soooo hot outside, but really muggy, so there'll probably be a thunderstorm soon eeeeek. Off to my friends tonight in Exeter for dinner and a sneaky glass of wine.

Miracle face cream!

Bit of a product post, about a moisturiser, Oilatum natural repair face cream. It's amazing, one of the best face creams I have ever used and I cannot recommend it enough. Sadly, everyone else seems to have discovered it too and most of the larger Boots stores I've been into didn't have it in stock, try the smaller stores is my advice.

I think it cost me £7.95, which is the most expensive moisturiser I have ever bought, but you don't need to use a lot every time so it will last you, unless you like to slap it on :P
Why I love it:
It really moisturises my skin, and lasts all day without feeling oily.
It seems to help my spot-prone skin, spots never seem to come out as much even though I've only been using it for a week.
It makes my skin look healthier and adds a glow. A great product. Although it does say for dry skin, I use it and have oily to normal skin and I don't find that it adds to the oilyness of my skin if that makes sense. I haven't tested it under make up yet, purely because it has made my skin look better and I haven't felt the need to wear foundation for a while, bonus! I think this cream would be equally great on dry skin too, but if you have oily skin it works well too. Give it a try, if you can find it! They also do lots of bath/general skin moisturisers/baby ranges too.
Can't recommend this enough, and I won't be using anything else for a long time :)

Aztec

Got some new nail varnish- Barry M Instant Nail Effects in Black, plus Aztec gold by Beauty UK. I tried out various combinations under the nail effects, red looks good, but this gold is even better- a bit like crocodile skin, in a good way...

I also got taken shopping my mother yesterday, kind of a guilt trip after she's been working all week. Went to new look and got a nice breton top for £7 and a cable knit cardigan for £12 in the sale down from £26 :D I have far too many cardigans now, it's ridiculous haaa.

In other news...my dissertation is going well, and I have done about 3/4 now! Only a week to go until I need to go back to uni to finish it off and print/bind it, I feel like I'll be sending a small child into the world, it's been a big part of my life for the past year, even though it has suffered neglect at times, oops. My car situation is not so good however...

After being sat outside for 8 months with a broken gear box and starter motor the rust has got to her, hopefullyyyy she will be mended soon, as at the mo I'm having to rely on the parents for lifts. Tragic and annoying. I am thinking of either maxing out the overdraft and sending her to a specialist or dare I say it, selling her and buying something newer/more reliable, one day I will own a decent mini!! Hopefully she will get mended though, don't really want to say goodbye yet :( Anyway, must go and bash out a couple more thousand words...the end is in sight!!

Claret

Nail Polish- 115 Red Black by Barry M.
Ring- Silver and Moonstone, vintage.
Just a few photos of my new nail polish, a really lovely deep red as I was fed up of having to wear black if I wanted a dark colour. This shade is lovely, reminds me of port or claret. Yum. Last photo is taken from inside looking out into my garden- amazing weather at the moment, hot enough for shorts but my legs are so pale it's ridiculous. Tanning time! Spent today making cakes and watching Bizarre ER on iPlayer, amazing what weird injuries can happen... now it's tea time and then more dissertation work- soon be rid of it! :D

Track of the week 8.

Forgot to tag this on to my last post:

Violens- Acid Reign

Amazzzzing. I downloaded them from Urban Outfitter's Music Mondays- you can download loads of free tracks once a week and they backlog them so you can get about 100 songs at the moment. Link here. Then I was randomly listening to iTunes and this came on. I love it!
Happy downloading :)

April Showers

This top is about as bright as I get, it's a really nice coral/pinky colour from Primark. I think it comes in black, cream and a rusty colour. I was going to get rust but I have a lot of clothes in that colour and thought I'd branch out a bit. This is the only thing I've bought for AGES due to serious lack of cash. I also got a lovely long necklace in there too- it's a 'gold' envelope which actually opens- I love functional jewellery like lockets and things and it was only £2.50. Hopefully it won't go green but I may plaster it in clear nail varnish just to be on the safe side!

Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day yesterday- mine was busy driving me back from Uni for Easter, not much of a holiday as my dissertation is due at the beginning of May, cannot wait to hand it in.
Anyway, here are some pictures of the two items, plus some general shots of my current jewellery collection, sorry for all the mirror pictures, I haven't found a surface high enough to get proper 'outfit' pictures yet.

Please excuse my disgusting mirror

Hopefully moving rooms this week- my brother has moved out so I get to upgrade to a massive bedroom :D Sooo looking forward to redecorating!
Review of the W7 77 makeup pallete coming soon plus the Chanel foundation :) I'm now going to watch Loose Women, oh the joys of daytime TV!
